The DigiArts project aims to focus on “interrupted” dialogue and develop a qualitative and effective way for young people and youth workers to exchange in dialogue and cooperation and support each other in an innovative digital way. DigiArts focuses on developing an innovative and creative method for youth workers to foster social inclusion. The project uses Restorative Justice values and Arts to strengthen collaboration and dialogue among European youth.
The project objectives:
- New Approaches - Provide youth workers with an opportunity to broaden their methodologies
- Improve Youth Work - Enable young people to receive proper support and youth counselling
- Digital Arts - Improve youth workers’ digital competences and digital skills for youth work
As part of the DigiArts project, the partners are developing the following results:
A manual on the Restorative Justice and Arts approach to enable youth workers to understand how to correctly implement the innovative approach. The manual includes an introduction on Restorative Justice, what it is, where it comes from and what it entails, as well as a conclusive overview of how Restorative Justice and Arts can be combined to strengthen equity and eqaulity among European youth.
The E-Learning environment will include online activities for youth workers to learn about the new approach and methodology and how to transfer the artistic Restorative Justice approach to a digital format. The platform includes engaging learning content for youth work professionals and young people and aims at improve youth workers’ digital competences as well as youth support outreach.
